Mr. Kramo Konan Barthelemy holds a Diploma of Advanced Study in Metallogeny from the University of Felix Houphouët Boigny of Abidjan. He started his career as an exploration geologist in Côte d’Ivoire where he worked for several mining companies including BHP Minerals and Golden Star Exploration for more than 10 years before moving to Canada where he worked as a consultant before joining the IAMGOLD team at the Val-d'Or Regional Office as a Senior Project Geologist in 2011. In 2017 he returned to West Africa as Manager, Siribaya Project for IAMGOLD in Mali where he actively participated in the discovery of the Diakha deposit. Since 2020 he has been based in Dakar, Senegal as Exploration Technical Manager for IAMGOLD’s Bambouk Complex which includes projects in Mali, Guinea and Senegal. He is very involved in the recent discovery of the Karita gold deposit (Guinea). Since September 2023, Mr. Kramo Barthelemy has been acting General Manager of Exploration for Mali, Senegal and Guinea. Mr. Kramo Barthelemy is a member of the Quebec Order of Geologists and a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec.
